Who would have thought such words could be uttered about HP?

"HP has been a serial disappointment and a case study in mismanagement, dreadful capital allocation and poor corporate governance . . . ." [HP breakup touted amid falling value].

Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard were innovators with the much touted American entrepreneurial spirit. While they were in charge - the company prospered under the HP way. HP was THE company to work for when I was working in the computer industry in the 60s and 70s.
